about the girl

my name is hannah. i'm eighteen years old, i reach 5'4" tall and i have and always will live in new york city. i was born on july twenty second, which makes me a cusp baby, a cancer and a leo. ironically enough i'm very connected to my home and i'm pretty shy at first, but like a leo, i am very dramatic and use the world as my stage. i'm currently a freshman at hofstra university located in hempstead, long island. i'm an aspiring broadway actress and thus i'm a dance major, drama minor. other ambitions include writing a play, teaching dance to little ones, being a personal organizer/interior designer and starting my own dance/triple threat studio. english is my favorite standard subject i feel most passionate about the work i do in such classes. in my spare time (which isn't often) i like to explore new york though my taste, fashion eye and tourist side. i can be found often going to see shows off broadway, on broadway, at lincoln center or basically anywhere else performances are happening! i am also part of the women's club lacrosse team and have plans to audition for "danceworks", one of a few hofstra dance clubs. i'm a very opinionated person and i would not recommend debating with me. i work as a nanny and a waitress on and off at different venues. i'm currently availible and enjoying my free time to myself, however a ball and chain interests me as well.

my journal

my journal is my rock. i'm fairly open in it and i use it to get my thoughts out on the table on a regular basis, expect daily updates from me. i've been keeping a livejournal since june 6, 2004, i was fifteen at the time. since then i've had two online journals palindrome22 and this current account. i'm fairly good at commenting, i'd say and i appriciate comments myself. i believe the whole point of livejournal is to keep your life private from your actual tangable life, while still getting support and advice about what is going on. i have a seperate filter for entries about weight loss and all weight related entries. i frequently post pictures and im rather blunt. my journal is friends only. sorry folks. for the most part i will probably add you. i appriciate my new friends filling out this simple survey to better know my lj friends.
